I'm an absolute beginner and bought this strictly off reviews online and the general Takamine reputation. I've been playing it for a few weeks now and am totally happy with it. The price was right since I didn't want to spend a lot of money not knowing whether I'd "take" to this new hobby or not. The quality of the guitar is excellent especially for the price -- it looks great, all the parts are well put together and well finished. I'm no expert of course but everything looks solid and overall just gives the impression of a quality instrument (I have played other instruments so not a total newbie to music...just guitars!)
